Ingredients
-
200g milk or dark chocolate buttons
-
200g butter at room temperature
-
One half cup sugar
-
One tbsp Black Garlic & Co Cherry Balsamic Vinegar with three large eggs at room temperature (gently whisked)
-
One cup all-purpose flour, sifted
-
Two-third cup sweetened dark cocoa powder, sifted one flat tsp baking powder
-
100g walnuts, chopped
Directions
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius using the top and bottom element function.
Line an 8 x 8-inch baking tray with baking paper and grease paper with butter.
In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate and butter carefully in the microwave on low heat, just warm enough to melt it. Do not overheat or burn. Stir through the sugar, balsamic vinegar and eggs. Whisk until all ingredients are mixed together and smooth.
Mix the rest of the dry ingredients in another bowl, then gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Once well mixed, then stir through the walnuts. Pour into the baking tin and bake on the middle shelf for 20 minutes.
Check brownies are not overcooking. If the middle is still very soft and undercooked, bake for a few minutes. Re-check and cook longer again if necessary. The less time cooked, the gooier they will be.
Allow brownies to cool before cutting. Add toppings of choice.
